Suvi is a Finnish girl’s name, which also means "summer". Ainoa is another beautiful Finnish word, which means "the only one".

Yan Yan started Suvi Ainoa after she became a mother. She wanted to create a brand about simple style and simple joy in life. The line launched with a children's collection and a home textile collection. She also stocks Finnish design house Iiittala's products and some independent graphic designer stationaries.
